Do I Take Insurance?

No, I do not accept health insurance, but I can give you a Superbill to turn into your insurance company or you may turn in the receipts for your health savings account or use the HSA debit card. I do not take insurance, because these companies dictate the care I provide which means less time with my patients and the inability to order the tests I think you need to find the root cause(s) of illness. I will let you use your insurance for labs and medications, but keep in mind certain labs may not be covered.

Do I Prescribe Medications?

I prescribe medications when warranted (antibiotics, hormones, weight loss medications, naltrexone), but I also utilize herbs and natural supplements for my patients as well. Sometimes herbal antibiotics work better than prescription antibiotics for certain conditions.

Is There a Physician on Staff?

Labyrinth Health & Wellness has a collaborating physician for the state of Oklahoma. Please email tia@labyrinthhealthwellness.com if you would like the information for the collaborating physician. You may also check the Oklahoma Board of Nursing website as collaborating physician information is listed under nurse licenses.

Can I be Your Primary Care Provider ?

I can help with hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, allergies, but you will want to find a traditional medical provider if you are not wanting natural treatments included in your plan of care. My goal is to get you off as many medications as possible.

How are Visits Conducted ?

Visits are scheduled online and conducted virtually or in person. 80-85% of the diagnosis stems from the medical history which can be completed virtually. I will email you a link for your video visit. You must be physically in the state of Oklahoma in order to complete the video visit. Please log on 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to correct any technical problems. Medications may be shipped to your home from a compounding pharmacy or can be picked up at a local pharmacy.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

You will be responsible for the cost of the entire visit if the appointment is not canceled within 24 hours of the visit (48 hour cancelation needed for initial functional medicine visits). Please reschedule or cancel your appointment in order for other patients to be seen.

What Is A Superbill for Insurance?

A Superbill is a document with medical codes that can be provided to insurance for reimbursement for medical provider visits. I will email you a Superbill to turn into insurance for each provider visit if requested. You may also be able to use your HSA/FSA debit card for visits.
